Spell Check Doesn't Always Work

I normally don't read stories about "Jersey Shore," but this spell-check error appears in an article about the show on CNN.com.

An executive producer of the show comments about the show's ending:

"It's really about their lives evolving and changing in a way that moves them away from the original conceit of the show."

Somehow I don't think she meant "conceit." Or maybe she did. If you've ever seen "Jersey Shore" it is the epitome of conceit.

Conceit for concept--is that what was meant? Given the content and nature of this show, this "spell-check" error has got to be about the most ironic one ever.

Make certain you don't let spell check "make" you say something you didn't really intend to say.
