Can You Read It?
This German native's signature comes from his late nineteenth century naturalization.
Joes. (or Jon) Lyub (u with an umlaut)

ReplyDeleteThis is from his naturalization in Hancock County, Illinois, in the 1880s. Jan is a first cousin of my great-great-grandfather.
